Synopsis
The Graduate, the classic, award-winning, satirical comedy, which propelled Dustin Hoffman to stardom.
Ben has returned home from university with top grades and his parents throw a party with their friends to celebrate. One guest, the seductive Mrs Robinson, seizes the opportunity to cajole Ben into a wholly inappropriate affair.
Meanwhile, Ben's parents and Mr Robinson have plans afoot to matchmake Ben with the Robinson's daughter, Elaine. Mayhem ensues when his affair with her mother is revealed.
The Graduate is a tale of the coming of age, secrets, hypocrisy and love in 1960's middle class California.
